How the trial works
Both Alva Courses plans — Unlimited at $9.99/month and Unlimited Pro at $14.99/month — include a 14-day free trial. During the trial every feature on your chosen plan is unlocked and Shopify charges nothing. If you keep the app past day 14, Shopify bills the plan price on your normal Shopify billing cycle.
Trial and cancellation steps
1. Start the 14-day free trial
When you install Alva Courses and approve either the Unlimited or Unlimited Pro plan, Shopify starts a 14-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial and can use every feature on your chosen plan.
2. Know when the first charge lands
If you keep the app installed past the 14th day, Shopify bills the plan price on your usual Shopify billing cycle: $9.99/month for Unlimited or $14.99/month for Unlimited Pro. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
3. Open Apps in your Shopify admin
To cancel, go to your Shopify admin and click Apps in the sidebar. Find Alva Courses in your installed apps list.
4. Uninstall Alva Courses
Click the menu next to Alva Courses and choose Delete, then confirm. Uninstalling cancels the subscription immediately and stops all future charges through Shopify.
What learners see
During the trial, learners watch courses in your storefront exactly as they will after billing begins — nothing on the customer side flags a trial. If you uninstall, your courses stop being delivered, so move or pause active enrolments before you cancel.
