How it works
Billing is handled by Shopify, so changing plans is a single approval. Upgrading from Unlimited ($9.99/mo) to Unlimited Pro ($14.99/mo) keeps all your existing courses and members untouched and switches on Alva Video Hosting. Shopify prorates the difference automatically.
Upgrade steps
1. Open the Plan & billing page
In the Alva Courses dashboard inside your Shopify admin, open Settings and select Plan & billing. Your current plan is shown at the top of the page.
2. Select Unlimited Pro
Find the Unlimited Pro plan at $14.99/mo and click Upgrade. The plan card lists everything in Unlimited plus Alva Video Hosting — 50 GB and no per-video limits.
3. Approve the charge in Shopify
Shopify shows the new subscription charge and prorates the difference automatically. Click Approve to confirm. If you are still in your 14-day free trial, you are not billed until it ends.
4. Upload to Alva Video Hosting
Open any lesson, add a Video block, and choose Alva hosting to upload directly. Your 50 GB of dedicated storage is active immediately, with no 1 GB or 10-minute file cap.
What learners see
Nothing changes for already-enrolled students. Lessons keep playing as before, and any new videos you upload to Alva hosting stream in the same storefront course player — only now you can post longer, larger videos than Shopify's native caps allowed.
